- שַׁחֲקָאII m., pl. שַׁחֲקֵי 1) same. Nidd.17a ש׳ דכיתנא linen rags. Ib. הא בחדתי והא בש׳ in the one case it means new linen, in the other, old linen; a. e. 2) toils. Targ. Prov. 31:7 (h. text עמל).
